Christofur Real is a Regina-based artist who’s made his name by being able to play “everything.” His days fronting several prominent Saskatchewan rock and country bands have given him an unrivalled selection of cover songs from all popular genres and eras to perform during his solo acoustic shows. Not surprisingly, Christofur loves taking requests from the audience, and rarely can a crowd stump him. Billy Joel? You got it! Tragically Hip? Of course! Luke Combs? Sure thing! Eminem? Yup, even that. His massive repertoire also allows him to craft “event specific” setlists with ease, such as an all-Canadian artists set on Canada Day, or an all ‘80s or ‘90s set for a retro night, or even a set made up entirely of songs about places for a travel agent convention.
This versatility, combined with his high-energy stage presence and knack for cracking just the right joke at just the right time on stage, are major reasons his performance calendar is always full and why he’s found himself on the Prairie Dog’s annual “Best of Regina” lists numerous times throughout the years.
